Welcome to Healthy Foundations Group! We are an outpatient group practice dedicated to providing high-quality adult, child and adolescent psychiatry and therapy services with a superior care model at our Bethesda, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Westminster locations. Healthy Foundations Group meets our clients’ mental health needs by providing customized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s and family’s needs. We serve clients across the lifespan, ranging from children to geriatrics. You will be on a team composed of psychiatrists, therapists, nurse practitioners and administrative professionals.

What the College Marketing Intern Does:

The Marketing Intern will play a crucial role in supporting our team with various tasks aimed at increasing brand awareness, engaging our target audience, and driving customer acquisition. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and be an integral part of our marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is someone who works independently, takes initiative, and is interested in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media management: assist in managing and curating content for our LinkedIn page. Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages.
  2. Content Creation: collaborate with the team to create compelling fliers, rack cards, brochures, infographics, and other multimedia content that aligns with our brand and resonates with our target audience.
  3. Event Coordination: assist in planning, organizing, and executing marketing events, both on-site and online. This includes workshops, open houses, and other initiatives to engage current and potential clients.
  4. Email Marketing: support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting emails, managing contact lists, and analyzing campaign performance.
  5. Analytics and Reporting: help track and analyze key performance metrics across various marketing channels. Prepare reports on campaign effectiveness and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  6. Collaboration: work closely with various administrative and clinical teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  1. Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  3. Basic understanding of marketing principles and concepts.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  5. A self-starter with a proactive attitude, able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  6. Creative thinking and a willingness to contribute fresh ideas to marketing campaigns.
  7. An interest in mental healthcare and a passion for staying updated on current market trends.
  8. Entrepreneurial spirit with a “what it takes to get the job done” attitude.

This is an unpaid internship opportunity with flexible hours and duration. The position will be based in Bethesda, Maryland with the possibility of remote work on a case-by-case basis. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages learning and growth.
